Join us as Morgan Stanley, Winter Haven Branch, and Polk Community College present the fifth annual East Polk Economic Summit on Thursday, Oct. 23. Enjoy breakfast at PCC, Winter Haven Campus Student Center. Doors and the breakfast open at 7:30 a.m. The program begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 9:30 a.m. Learn a fresh perspective on both the national and local economies.

Richard Golod, Executive Director for Global Investment Strategies for van Kampen Investment, will present “Where to Invest in a More Volatile World”. With access to a global network of strategists and analysts, he provides timely, insightful analysis of global financial and economic trends. Gordon Kettle, economic instructor and consultant, will present the “Polk County Economic Barometer.” He examines various economic indicators and trends to assess the current state and future direction of the local economy. The program is open to all East Polk Chamber members and the general public. Cost for the full breakfast is $25 per person or $180 for a reserved table of six (Two PCC students will join your table.)
